The Multidisciplinary Journal of Educational Research (known by its Spanish acronym REMIE) is an Electronic quarterly Journal of Hipatia Press that publishes research outcomes with significant contributions to the understanding and improvement of the educational processes. REMIE does not only collect research outcomes from different disciplines and methodological approaches, but also research carried out by interdisciplinar research teams. In this line, disciplinar and intedisciplinar works related to educational research will be welcome such as education, sociology, psychology, anthropology, history, philosophy, economics, linguistics, geography or political science. This scientific Journal emerges with the need to get a response to the excessive compartmentalization of scientific knowledge that traditionally has existed in educational research arena in Spain and Latin America. It pretends to be an international space for discussion and critique through the presentation of theoretical and empirical evidences that could favour educational equity and the advancement of our societies. REMIE aims to be indexed and abstracted as soon as possible in national and iternational Social Sciences databases such as Catálogo de Latindex, In-RECS, ERIH, SCOPUS, the Social Science Citation Index and others. Peer Review Policy: All research articles in this journal have undergone rigorous double-blind peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymized refereeing by two anonymous referees. Abstracted/indexed in: Educational Research Abstracts (ERA), DIALNET, Matriz de Información para la Evaluación de Revistas (MIAR) & Clasificación Integrada de Revistas Científicas (CIRC).
